Shape, details and use

Discover FoldedInside

FoldedInside has a sloping, open upper edge rather than a flat closed top. One side rises while the other folds inward, so turning the design changes how much of the opening and rib pattern you see. Creator examples show the form both unlit and with a light inside.

The printed set contains the original threaded shade and its matching round threaded base. A source photograph shows them separated, with the example light on the foot. Access from below is different from the high opening that gives the shade its shape. The complete Bambu reference counts both original parts once at their original scale; alternative source packages are not added as extra components.

Hive attributes the listing to In-House and names FoldedInside by Paf3d in its description; both source credits are retained. The offer covers the printed lamp form. Its LED module, power supply and electrical assembly are excluded. The maker light example does not establish universal module compatibility. Choose a colour for the standard parts, or discuss a particular light and scale before making changes.

How do you access the light inside FoldedInside?

The design has a threaded shade and a separate matching threaded base. The creator photograph shows the shade beside the foot with its example light. Access is from below; the high opening remains part of the shape. Assess the intended LED module separately for fit and access to its controls.

The shade and base are a matched pair

The original threaded lampshade and threaded base form the complete printed set. The foot is not a universal adapter for any socket. The separated-parts creator image shows the tall shade and low round foot clearly. The reference counts each original once; alternative source packages do not add more parts to the order.

Check access as well as module size

Send the intended LED diameter, height, cable exit and control position. A module may fit inside the cavity while its switch becomes difficult to reach. Consider how you will switch it off and remove it. The source light is a maker example; no physical fit or electrical compatibility with that module has been established by OmniTechs. The module and power supply are excluded.

Choose which way the opening faces

The upper edge slopes and opens further on one side. Front, side and elevated views show different combinations of ribs and open space. Choose the intended location, then orient the folded line towards your usual viewpoint. A low table reveals more of the inside than a high shelf. Creator photographs help compare the form but do not predict the output of your selected LED.

Give the tall outline clearance

Leave space around the folded upper edge, away from an opening cupboard door or nearby objects. Measure the available height and room for the foot and power connection. The original digital shade is about twenty-five centimetres tall; that is not a measured total assembled height. Changing scale also changes the thread and the room available for the light.

Complete original production reference

The Bambu calculation includes the full original shade and foot on separate plates, without supports, following the current maker guidance. Machine time and PLA grams describe that printed set. They do not establish thread fit, stability or a finished lighting effect. Order the standard form in your colour; another light or scale needs a separate assessment.
