If the request proceeds to production
The paid €30 counts as a previous payment on the same production order or pilot, rather than an additional fee. You also receive €30 Preferred Client Credit on the same lamp request under the approved terms. This is not an automatic €60 discount on any invoice.

A model ready for assessment
Provide its exact link, scale, colour and quantity. We check printability and the licence for your use. If permission is missing, discuss an original design or another permitted model.
A pendant above a table
Give table width or diameter, ceiling height and the desired position of the bottom of the shade. These measurements inform shade size, cable length and the number of light points.
A new shade on an existing base
Photograph the fitting and how the old shade attaches. Measure the holder, available space and distance to the light source. Identify which surfaces must fit, not just the outside silhouette.

What determines the price of your lamp?
Size, material, print time and delivered state all affect the quote. The calculator gives a non-binding starting indication, not a fixed price for a model on another platform.
Small shade
Printing, removal, agreed cleanup, checks and packaging.
Medium or larger shade
More material and machine time; an electrical set is still a separate scope choice.
Complete table or pendant lamp
Shade and any base, plus fitting, cable, switch, LED, assembly and checks.
The model check is €30 excluding VAT. If the same request proceeds to production, it counts as a previous payment plus Preferred Client Credit under the approved terms.

Discuss your lampMeasure the connection before choosing the outer shape
The opening must match the fitting or holder, while the shade needs clearance around the light source. Send the attachment diameter, retaining ring, height, available space and photographs showing how the assembly comes apart. If a measurement is uncertain, identify it before the full shade is printed.
For a pendant, state table width, ceiling height and the desired bottom edge. A visually attractive shade still has to leave suitable clearance and direct the light where you need it.
Define fit, components and delivered stateCheck the rights of the exact model
A free download is not permission to reproduce a model commercially. Send its licence or written permission with the model link. Scale changes, modifications and resale can have their own restrictions.
If permission is absent, we can discuss another model or an original design. The assessment happens before production.
Discuss an original designShape, material and light work together
Wall thickness, colour and surface structure affect how light passes through the shade. FDM layer lines can remain visible. A LED bulb alone does not make every printed shade suitable: material, heat, distance from the source and the place of use must be assessed together.
For a complete lamp, the agreed execution and use limits are checked against applicable safety and conformity requirements before delivery. Damp locations, outdoor use and connection to fixed building wiring are not standard inclusions.
A €30 model check that counts towards the same production request
Already have a file or link? The €30 excluding VAT assessment covers licence, printability and suitability for the intended production route. It precedes a production order or recurring pilot. Design and a physical trial are agreed separately.
If the same request proceeds, the paid €30 counts as a previous payment on that order, rather than an extra fee. You also receive €30 Preferred Client Credit on the same lamp request under the approved terms. It is not an automatic discount on an unrelated invoice.

A printed plastic shape
We print the geometry in plastic. Fabric, glass and wicker shades belong to a different specialist. The opening and attachment here are designed around the model or fitting.
One lamp or shade
This service does not include repairing existing fittings, home installation or a lighting plan for an entire room.

A successful print does not settle the model rights, fitting, temperature limits or electrical assembly. Commissioning the lamp brings those decisions into one quote. If you are printing a shade yourself, establish its use and connection requirements before choosing settings.

Questions about a custom lamp
Can I order just a lampshade?
Yes. Send its model or desired shape, dimensions and photographs of the base, fitting and attachment. We assess fit and suitability first; outside diameter alone is not enough.
Can you print a model I found on MakerWorld?
If it is printable and the licence permits the requested use. Send the exact link, quantity, colour and permission. We do not accept commercial reproduction without valid rights.
Can you supply wiring and a light source?
A complete lamp can include appropriate components and assembly. The quote identifies fitting, light source, power supply, cable and controls. Home installation is not automatically included.
What should I measure for a pendant?
Table width or diameter, ceiling height, desired height of the bottom edge and whether you want one or several shades. Include the intended fitting and available space.
What happens to the model-check payment if I order?
For the same production order or pilot, the paid €30 excluding VAT counts as a previous payment. You also receive €30 Preferred Client Credit on that lamp request under the approved terms; this is not an automatic combined discount on any invoice.
What does a custom lamp cost?
The calculator gives a starting indication for a shade, table lamp or pendant. The final quote follows assessment of the model, dimensions, components and use. External models have no fixed catalogue price here.
Do you repair lamps or make lighting plans?
No. This route covers a new 3D-printed shade or complete lamp. Repairs, hanging existing fixtures and whole-room lighting plans require the appropriate specialist.
