What does 3D print dropshipping include?
You keep your webshop and customer relationship. OmniTechs provides the agreed model check, production, finishing, packaging and dispatch. Print on demand means producing after an order or an agreed batch, rather than buying from a large retail stock range.
Choose the production arrangement that fits your orders
This service is for webshops and brands selling printed decoration, accessories or specialist parts. The repeat order must identify a specific approved model and variant so the correct product, colour and packaging can be produced again.
If you need one file printed for yourself or a single project, use the printing service. If you need a batch delivered to you rather than individual customer dispatch, discuss a small production run.
Agree who handles each part of the order
You choose or supply the product, set your selling price and handle customer service, payments and your buyer-facing returns policy.
We check the model, print, perform agreed finishing, package and dispatch, with tracking where applicable. We report production problems. White-label packaging, paperwork and sender details depend on the agreed scope and logistics; confirm these before the pilot.
Confirm commercial permission for each model
A free MakerWorld, Printables or Cults download does not automatically allow reproducing that design for sale. Supply the licence text, designer terms or written permission before production.
If commercial rights are missing or unclear, we do not start sales production of that model. Your own design or an appropriate commercial licence provides a clearer route. A licence for one design does not automatically cover every variant or model from the same creator.
Start with a reliable order handover
The initial order process can use agreed email or a sheet. This offer does not include an existing Shopify or WooCommerce app that automatically handles every order.
Webhooks, status updates and automatic label generation are a separate software scope. First establish how a product revision, variant, delivery address and dispatch status pass through a reliable manual or partly manual process.
Fulfilment Plus: an agreed buffer stock
Standard print on demand starts after an order. Fulfilment Plus can hold an agreed buffer of your product, typically up to approximately 500 items, so picking and dispatch need not wait for a fresh print batch.
Storage depends on dimensions and whether items can safely stack or nest. The indication for a buffer of about 500 items is €50 to €300 per month. Small stackable parts fit towards the lower end; large or fragile lamps and awkward shapes require more space. The exact price follows a dimensions and feasibility check.
This is an addition to our 3D-print production and white-label fulfilment service. It is not general self-storage or a complete warehouse fulfilment platform. Confirm replenishment and which variants occupy the buffer before relying on stock for delivery promises.
Price the pilot before scaling
There is no fixed per-product price here. Printing time, material, finishing, packaging, destination and volume determine the quote. Buffer storage is additional. A small pilot lets you check the finished product and packaging before increasing order volume.
Send the product type, model revision, expected monthly volume, destination countries and branding requirements. For lamps, include the licence and intended lighting arrangement so the model and safety scope can be assessed per product.
Questions about 3D print dropshipping
Is this the same as print-on-demand T-shirts?
No. Printed physical objects have different production times, material choices, checks and shipping dimensions from textile or paper print-on-demand services.
Can products ship under my brand?
Yes, within the agreed white-label scope. Packaging, packing slips and sender details depend on logistical feasibility. Confirm exact branding before the pilot.
Do I supply the models?
Usually you supply models or identify licensed designs. Design work can be quoted separately. Clear commercial rights are required before sales production.
How is this different from the printing service?
The printing service handles individual or project-based requests. Dropshipping handles repeat business orders with agreed fulfilment to your webshop customers.
What is Fulfilment Plus?
An optional agreed stock buffer, often up to approximately 500 items, to reduce the wait for a new production batch. Storage is indicatively €50–€300 per month, depending on dimensions and stackability. It is not a general storage or complete e-fulfilment service.
Can I sell lamps through this service?
A lamp product family can be assessed, including commercial permissions and the lighting and safety scope. For one custom lamp for your own use, use the custom lamp service.
