From your file to an agreed print

  1. Send your model

    Start with an STL or 3MF estimate, or send your file directly through the quote form.

  2. Get a file assessment

    We check the model and discuss intended use. The first assessment is free; repair or design changes are quoted separately.

  3. Approve the quote

    The quote confirms the print, total price, delivery and schedule. Your enquiry becomes an order when you approve the agreed work.

  4. Print, inspect and deliver

    After approval and the agreed payment, we print, inspect the result and ship it with DHL or PostNL.

The automatic estimate is an indication based on your file and choices. The reviewed quote also confirms orientation, finishing and scheduling that a slicer cannot decide for you.

Describe what you need and include your file. If you made an estimate above, the model and choices are included automatically. There is no production commitment until you approve the quote and the agreed payment is arranged.

STL or 3MF model up to 256 MB? Use the model upload. Your model is then included with this enquiry by private reference, without an email attachment.

Start with a file-based indication

What to include

Use the model upload for STL or 3MF; the allowed file size is shown beside the upload. Your model is stored privately and included with your enquiry; you do not need to attach it again by email. Additional review files, such as drawings, photos, STEP, OBJ or GLB, can be email attachments: up to 3 files, 8 MB each and 12 MB combined. Include a download link for larger reference files.

Tell us the finished dimensions, quantity, intended use and any surfaces or connections that matter. You do not need to calculate slicer weight, machine hours or print orientation yourself.

For a downloaded design, include the model page and licence. We need permission to reproduce it; a free download does not automatically allow production.

Understand the indication

Your file, material, quantity and delivery choice determine the indication. Individuals see VAT-inclusive totals; businesses can see totals excluding VAT. The quote confirms the full scope, any additional work, delivery and final price before you order.

Material and finish

PLA and PETG are the starting options on our Bambu Lab P1S with AMS and A1 mini. Other filaments are assessed for the intended use through a quote. Choose ‘Advise me’ if you are unsure. FDM layer lines may remain visible. Metal and safety-critical applications are outside this printing service.

Questions about printing your file

Can I order a 3D print online?
Upload a file for an indication and request a quote. Neither the indication nor the enquiry is an order. We confirm the print, total price, delivery and schedule; production follows your approval and the agreed payment.
Can I request just one piece?
Yes. Individuals and single prints are welcome. Packaging is included in the estimate; Netherlands shipping is included unless you choose pickup or an available local delivery option. Small parts can therefore cost proportionally more than larger prints.
Which files can I send?
Use the model upload for STL or 3MF; its allowed file size is shown beside the upload. Model checks determine whether automatic calculation is possible. The stored model is then included with your enquiry. Separate email attachments are for additional review files: up to 3 files, 8 MB each and 12 MB combined. Include a download link for larger reference files or other models.
Do I need my own slicer?
No. Upload the model and confirm its size and your choices. Our slicer calculates the indication; you do not need to supply material grams or machine hours. If the file needs review, request a human quote instead.
How long will my print take?
Machine time in the indication is not delivery time. The queue, material, finishing and shipping also affect the schedule. We confirm the schedule in the quote.
How will I receive my print?
Temporary offer: all orders delivered free within the municipality of Groningen, including Haren and Ten Boer, with no minimum order. Pickup is always possible: at the door, by appointment. You receive the address when the appointment is confirmed. In both cases the shipping line is removed from your quote; the packaging cost stays. Outside the municipality of Groningen? Send your country and postcode. We confirm the available DHL or PostNL route, cost and dispatch estimate before approval, including international requests. Sourcing a material can affect the schedule. Any applicable import charges and who pays them are clarified with the quote. For an address outside the Netherlands, the quote confirms the route and costs.
Can you print a downloaded model?
Include its model page and licence with the request. We need permission to reproduce the design. A free download does not automatically permit production; uncertain permissions need review before printing.
