Discover Pinn

Pinn combines a rounded upper profile with rows of pointed triangular scales and an open circular lower edge. Side views emphasise the relief; a view from underneath reveals more of the inside. The creator photographs show a white unlit version and examples with a warm light source.

This is the pendant shade from the Pinn family. You receive one complete printed part, without a table-lamp base. Its original digital outer bounds are about 24.3 centimetres wide and 16 centimetres tall. These help with an initial space comparison, but are not measured finished dimensions or total hanging height including the fitting and cord. The complete Bambu figures cover this unchanged original shade.

Slang specifies an E27 screw socket with two retaining rings. The E27 name alone does not establish compatibility: the thread, rings and clearance must suit the shade. Suspension, socket, cord and bulb are excluded. Order the standard printed shade in your colour, or discuss an existing fitting and different size before making changes.

What fitting does the Pinn dragon-egg pendant shade need?

Slang specifies an E27 screw socket with two retaining rings for this pendant shade. The rings are part of securing the shade. Your order covers the printed part without socket, rings, cord or bulb, so compare the existing thread, ring dimensions and clearance rather than relying on the E27 name alone.

Compare the socket and retaining arrangement

E27 identifies the bulb connection. Holding the shade also requires the suitable thread and two rings described by the maker. An existing socket may accept the same bulb type while lacking the correct shade attachment. Send a photograph and relevant dimensions of the socket and rings for a specific assessment. Electrical installation is outside this printed-set offer.

Consider the view through the open lower rim

Pinn has a broad circular lower opening. A seated view below the shade reveals more of the inside than a side view. Check the proposed hanging position from the places where you normally sit or walk. The unlit and warm-lit creator photographs illustrate the scales, not a measured distribution or glare rating. Discuss the light source separately when placing the shade over a dining or work table.

Allow space around the projecting scales

The triangular points extend beyond the main rounded body. Measure the clear width and keep the shade away from an opening cupboard door or other hanging objects. The original digital width of about 24.3 centimetres includes this relief; it is not a physically measured finished size. The roughly 16-centimetre shade height excludes the socket, ceiling attachment and cord.

The pendant offer has no table base

This page covers the original pendant version. A Pinn table-lamp base or another stand is not included or assumed to fit. For an existing foot, send its connection dimensions and intended arrangement through the custom route. Changing the outer scale also changes the attachment opening, ring relationship and wall proportions.

The calculation includes the whole original shade

The full original is sliced once at its original scale using Slang’s documented 0.8 mm process, without supports. The Bambu machine time and PLA grams cover that complete printed part. They do not establish physical attachment or electrical suitability. Order the standard shade in your colour; another size or interface needs a fresh review and slice.
