Shape, details and use
Discover Luna
Luna's elongated neck keeps the silhouette calm, while the wider base adds volume. In the gallery you see the vase empty, with flowers and up close. The dark blue version shows how colour emphasises the lines in the design.
Luna can stand on its own or hold a decorative arrangement. For fresh flowers, use a watertight insert; the printed vase itself is not watertight. You choose the colour when you order.

Vase guide
How do you arrange and care for dried flowers in a vase?
Start with the longest and largest stems, fill in with shorter ones and finish with a few fine accents. Keep the bouquet dry, out of bright sunlight and away from moisture, and blow or brush the dust off now and then. That way dried flowers stay beautiful for years, and you need no water in the vase.
Arranging in three steps
- Structure: start with two or three long stems or branches, such as pampas, reed or eucalyptus
- Volume: add medium-height flowers, such as lavender, statice or dried roses
- Accent: finish with a few fine or striking stems, such as gypsophila or honesty (lunaria)
Work in odd numbers; that looks more natural. Turn the vase while you arrange, so the bouquet works from every side. If the vase has a narrow neck, you need fewer stems; the neck keeps them in shape by itself.
Caring for dried flowers
Dried flowers need little, but a few things shorten their life:
- Bright sunlight: colours fade quickly, so keep them out of direct sun
- Moisture: a bathroom, or a kitchen above the hob, makes them limp and can cause mould
- Dust: blow over them with a hairdryer on the cold setting, or use a soft brush
- Touching: dried flowers are fragile, so move the bouquet in one go
Luna: a long neck for a tall bouquet
Luna has a rounded base, a long neck and continuous vertical lobes. The fine surface gives this slim vase extra detail up close. The rounded base makes it stable, and the long neck keeps taller stems upright too. That makes Luna suitable for a slightly fuller and taller dried-flower bouquet than a low vase.
Because the vase itself can be calm in colour, you can play with the flowers: a bouquet in soft tones for a calm look, or a few colourful accents against a neutral vase.
Drying flowers yourself
You can dry many flowers yourself. Tie a small bunch together and hang it upside down in a dry, dark, airy place, such as an attic or cupboard. After two to three weeks they are dry. Lavender, roses, hydrangea, gypsophila, strawflowers and grass plumes work well. Drying in the dark keeps the colour better than drying in the light.
