Dreamli · personal 3D keepsakes

Turn a child's drawing into a keepsake you can hold.

Dreamli started with a simple idea: a drawing from your child does not have to stay on paper alone. We assess whether we can translate the subject into a small 3D object. You then choose a white DIY model with colouring materials for home, or a version we colour and finish. Existing print options stay available: keychains, NFC, lithophanes and prints from your own files.

What can you request through Dreamli?

You can ask us to assess a child's drawing as a 3D keepsake, request a white DIY colouring model, discuss a finished version from us, or have a personal keychain, lithophane, photo-to-3D idea and print of an existing digital model reviewed. Dreamli is a request service, not a webshop: there is no catalogue and no checkout. Availability, finish and price follow from the assessment.

Suitable for assessment

  • a clear child's drawing with one recognisable subject for a decorative keepsake;
  • a white 3D print you can colour at home with supplied materials;
  • a coloured and finished keepsake from us after scope agreement;
  • a name, short text or simple image for a personal keychain;
  • a photo as a starting point for a lithophane or decorative 3D idea;
  • your own STL, 3MF or OBJ file;
  • a MakerWorld, Printables or Thingiverse model link you are allowed to use.

Not automatically accepted

  • a model whose reproduction rights are unclear;
  • an object that must serve as certified toys, a teether or a safety-critical children's product;
  • a safety-critical use or an object with unclear risks;
  • a request that assumes a fixed price, material or delivery date;
  • a drawing or photo that would have to become a technically exact 3D model without extra information.

From drawing to small 3D keepsake

Send a straight photo or scan of the child's drawing and describe what the object should become: for example a standing figure, relief, name plate or small decorative gift. We first check whether lines can become thick enough, which parts must be simplified and which details must stay recognisable.

You can choose a white plastic model to colour together at home, or a version we colour and finish. In both cases we agree size, material feel, use and expectation first; a child's drawing is interpreted, not automatically converted into a perfect technical model.

A name or message on your keyring

Choose the name-keychain route for spelling, shape, colour and small runs.

A tag that opens your link

The NFC route explains how design, link choice and phone compatibility are aligned.

A photo is a starting point, not a complete 3D model

For a lithophane you start with a clear photo. For a photo-to-3D idea we first agree whether you mean a relief, silhouette or decorative object. Name the subject, desired size and where you will use it.

One photo does not automatically contain the back or accurate dimensions. Say which details must stay recognisable and how much design freedom there is. Only after assessment do we confirm what is feasible and any design work.

You already found the design

For an STL, 3MF or OBJ file or a model from MakerWorld, Printables or Thingiverse, go to the print service. There you see which sizes and licence details are needed.

Reproduction rights are checked before acceptance

Use only photos and designs you may have reproduced. When in doubt we ask for proof or decline the request. You can send references as attachments in the quote form, or via WhatsApp or email.

Sending an idea commits you to nothing. Scope, price and planning are confirmed first. Missing information or risks in the intended use can also mean we cannot accept the request yet.

Send the drawing, photo, file or model link for a first assessment.

Attach the drawing or photo in the form. Say whether you want a white DIY model or a finished version and confirm that you may have the image reproduced.
