Bat bookmarks in your home
The bat outline makes the motif recognisable at the edge of the book. With the short and long shape you have two variants for your reading nook. Choose your main colour and give the set as a small Halloween extra with a book gift.
How ordering works

Parts, material and use
The bat bookmarks have segments that need to be able to move and a flat silhouette that suits reading. That is no guarantee that they will never damage a thin or valuable page. Thickness, edges and the pressure of the cover remain relevant. The calculation checks the print geometry; a real book test and a check of the finish are separate steps.
Measure a book the recipient often reads and preferably send us the page height. Say whether the bookmark should mainly be a visible little gift or an everyday tool. The pumpkin set offers the same kind of choice in a different seasonal shape. For a book with a tight binding, choose by thickness first and by the largest silhouette second.
- Use the short bat for a lower page height and look at the long version if you read taller books. The reference uses the two Big source variants, one per length. Small variants are alternatives and are not counted. Which length feels right also depends on how much of the shape you want to see outside the page and how tightly the book closes.

Bambu P1S · nozzle 0.4 mm, calibrated SUNLU PLA+, Bambu Studio 02.08.02.61. For multiple parts we add up the separate print runs; we have not optimised a combined print plate.
These are calculated reference values, not a weighed product or a physical test print. The usage includes generated support material. Assembly, finishing, loose parts and extra material for colour changes are not included. Print time is not delivery time. A different size, colour layout or print setting changes the calculation.

3MF dimensions follow the embedded unit. For STL and OBJ geometry we assume millimetres; those files do not prove a unit of measurement themselves. For assembled products, outer dimensions per part are not a measurement of the finished object. A mask fit, lamp holder, load capacity or food safety does not follow from a successful slice.

The book is the yardstick
Measure the books you actually use. For a bookmark, page height, thickness and the pressure of the cover count; for a bookend, also book weight, shelf depth and whether there is a wall on the other side. A nice photo with books is not a test for every book. Do not force a tight book to make a thicker marker fit. Discuss finishing and quantity, so that a reading gift and an everyday tool do not get the same expectations of use.
What does the print calculation tell you?
The data for this example comes from a complete, selected print reference with SUNLU PLA+. It is not a measurement of a finished product. Material use can include support that is removed later; machine time does not include assembly, finishing or shipping. For separate parts, the individual print runs are added up. The table shows the selected quantities and outer dimensions per print geometry. Those dimensions do not prove inner space, fit or load capacity. A different scale or colour version needs a new assessment, because connections and extra material for colour changes can change.
