Parts, material and use
The hooded ghost light holder is a figure in a long cloak with a deep hood and no face. In its lap is a round recess for an LED tealight. The light colours the inside of the hood and the folds, so the figure seems to glow from within. Designed by FantaZ and 3D-printed by us in plastic.
Put it on a windowsill on the inside, on a sideboard or in the middle of the table among the pumpkins. It suits Halloween, but also a dark autumn evening. You choose the colour yourself: grey, black and white are understated, rust red or purple stands out more. Only use an LED tealight, never a real candle. An LED light is not included as standard; if you want one with it, put it in the note field.

3MF dimensions follow the embedded unit. For STL and OBJ geometry we assume millimetres; those files do not prove a unit of measurement themselves. For assembled products, outer dimensions per part are not a measurement of the finished object. A mask fit, lamp holder, load capacity or food safety does not follow from a successful slice.

Halloween lighting
Why not choose a real candle at Halloween?
Because Halloween brings together almost everything that does not go well with an open flame: wide costumes, children coming to the door and lots of flammable decorations. An LED tealight gives a similar glow without a flame. With a 3D-printed holder there is the added point that plastic cannot withstand heat.
Costumes, children and decorations
At Halloween, people walk around in capes, tulle skirts, wigs and loose sleeves. Those fabrics catch fire quickly and you only notice when it is too late. At the front door there are often children leaning over a bowl or wanting to look at a lantern.
The decorations themselves are vulnerable too. Fake spider webs, paper garlands, straw and dry leaves are often close to the spot where you would put a light. A candle that falls over is then enough.
On top of that, the house is often busy that evening. The doorbell keeps ringing, you walk back and forth and you pay less attention to what is on the windowsill. An LED light can simply stay on without you having to keep checking it. There are also LED tealights with a timer, so they switch off by themselves.
Common mistakes
- Putting a real candle in a plastic holder. Ordinary print material such as PLA already softens from about 55 to 60 °C.
- Placing a light by the front door where children in costumes walk past.
- Draping fake spider webs or paper decorations over a light source.
- Leaving a light on all night with nobody in the room.
- Leaving a plastic holder in full sun behind glass, even when it is switched off.
With an LED light, most of these risks disappear. Choose one with a warm, flickering glow if you want the effect of a flame.
How that works with the hooded ghost light holder
The hooded ghost light holder is made for an LED tealight. The recess in its lap is meant for exactly that kind of light, and the cloak around it is 3D-printed plastic. So a real candle never belongs in it.
An LED light is not included as standard; if you want one with it, put it in the note field. We print to order and deliver within 30 days at most. If you want it at home before 31 October, put that in the note field too; we will confirm by email whether that works.
