Bone vase in your home
The knobbly ends give the vase a pronounced rim and texture. Combine it with dry branches or leave the shape empty as a decorative object. For water, use a suitable watertight insert.

Parts, material and use
This vase consists of a row of straight bones that together form a cylinder. At the top and bottom you see the rounded joint heads, like a ring of knobs. From a distance it looks like a vase with bold ribs; only up close do you see that they are bones. The design is by Kowafatcompany; we print it to order in 3D-printed plastic.
Fill it with dried flowers, bare branches or pampas grass, or use it as a pen pot or a holder for brushes. For fresh flowers, put a glass or watertight pot inside. You choose the colour yourself: white or bone colour for the bone look, black or grey for a calmer effect. We deliver within 30 days at most; put a deadline such as 31 October in the note field.

3MF dimensions follow the embedded unit. For STL and OBJ geometry we assume millimetres; those files do not prove a unit of measurement themselves. For assembled products, outer dimensions per part are not a measurement of the finished object. A mask fit, lamp holder, load capacity or food safety does not follow from a successful slice.

Halloween home decor
How do you choose Halloween decorations that still look good after October?
Choose pieces with a beautiful shape and a calm colour, where the Halloween theme is subtle. Black, white, bone colour and gold work all year round. Save the bright orange and fake-blood accents for a few loose items that you put away again after 31 October.
What to look for
A lot of Halloween decoration is made for one evening. If you want to enjoy it for longer, look mainly at the shape, the colour and whether it holds up without the rest of the decorations.
- Shape over theme: a vase, bowl or wall piece with an interesting shape stays beautiful, even if you don't see the theme straight away.
- Calm colours: black, white, grey, bone colour and gold suit many interiors.
- A function: something you can put flowers, pens or keys in will naturally stay out.
- Material that does not rot or discolour, such as ceramic, metal or plastic.
Think of the gothic style: skulls, bones, moons and dark colours are seen there all year round. Whatever fits that style does not suddenly feel wrong in November.
Common mistakes
- Only buying cheap throwaway decorations that break after one year.
- Choosing everything in bright orange and purple, so nothing can stay out after October.
- Leaving real pumpkins and branches out too long, until they go mouldy.
- Having no place to store the decorations, so they get damaged.
Why this bone vase can stay out all year
The bone vase is a good example. From a distance you mainly see a round vase with vertical ribs and a knobbly rim. Only when you come closer do you see that they are bones. In white or bone colour it clearly belongs to Halloween; in black, grey or gold it suits a modern or gothic interior all year round.
With bare branches or black-painted dried flowers it is fully Halloween in October. In winter you put pine sprigs in it, in summer dry pampas grass. For fresh flowers, use a glass or watertight inner pot. Do not put it in full sun behind glass: ordinary 3D-printing plastic such as PLA softens from about 55 to 60 degrees.
