Parts, material and use
This purse has the shape of a pumpkin with wavy ribs and a face with triangular eyes and a smile. On both sides it hangs from a printed chain with hinged links. So you can wear it around your waist or as a shoulder bag, or hang it up indoors as decoration. The design is by Creaserra; we print it to order in 3D-printed plastic.
You choose the main colour; we print the chain as in the photo, or you add a wish in the note field. Metal snap hooks like those in the photo are not included as standard; if you want them, put it in the note field. Sweets can go in if they are individually wrapped. We deliver within 30 days at most. Need it for 31 October? Put it in the note field; we confirm by email.

Bambu P1S · nozzle 0.4 mm, calibrated SUNLU PLA+, Bambu Studio 02.08.02.61. For multiple parts we add up the separate print runs; we have not optimised a combined print plate.

3MF dimensions follow the embedded unit. For STL and OBJ geometry we assume millimetres; those files do not prove a unit of measurement themselves. For assembled products, outer dimensions per part are not a measurement of the finished object. A mask fit, lamp holder, load capacity or food safety does not follow from a successful slice.

Real pumpkin or fake pumpkin: which is more practical?
For a few days of atmosphere a real pumpkin is fun, especially if you hollow it out together. But a hollowed-out pumpkin often starts to rot after just a few days, especially indoors in a warm house. If you want decorations that last the whole month and can be used again next year, a fake pumpkin is more practical.
The pros and cons at a glance
The biggest difference is how long it lasts. A whole pumpkin has a hard skin that protects it. As soon as you cut it open, air, moisture and mould reach the flesh. Then things go quickly, especially at room temperature.
- Real pumpkin, whole: keeps for a long time in a cool place, and you can eat it afterwards if it is an edible variety.
- Real pumpkin, hollowed out: beautiful with an LED light inside, but the flesh is exposed and quickly goes mouldy and soft.
- Fake pumpkin made of plastic, ceramic or fabric: no smell, no mould, reusable every year.
- A fake pumpkin can also have a function, such as a vase, a small dish or a purse.
A good combination: real, whole pumpkins outside by the door or in a cool place, and fake pumpkins indoors, where it is too warm for real ones.
Common mistakes
- Hollowing out the pumpkin at the beginning of October, so it has already collapsed by 31 October.
- Putting a hollowed-out pumpkin indoors next to the radiator.
- Putting a real candle in a pumpkin. Always use an LED light.
- Putting a pumpkin directly on a wooden table or windowsill, where moisture and mould leave a stain.
Why this pumpkin purse is practical
This pumpkin purse is a fake pumpkin with a purpose. On Halloween you collect sweets in it, and for the rest of the month you hang it on a hook, a door handle or a coat rack as decoration. Nothing rots and you can simply use it again next year.
Only put individually wrapped sweets in it; the purse is 3D-printed and not suitable for direct contact with food. Do not hang it in full sun behind glass: ordinary 3D-printing plastic such as PLA softens from about 55 to 60 degrees. Want an LED light inside for a glowing effect? Put that in the note field; an LED light is not included as standard.
