Pumpkin coasters in your home
Spread the coasters across your table and then put them back together as a decorative object. The shared pumpkin theme connects the different faces. Use the plastic set as described in the product details and keep hot pans away from it.
How ordering works
- Choose a colour and the quantity, and enter your delivery address. We check postcode and house number against the Dutch address register.
- You pay the total incl. VAT via Stripe. Shipping within the Netherlands is included.
- You receive a confirmation by email. We print Pumpkin coasters in your colour and ship it within 30 days.

Details for your version
Parts, material and use
Each coaster has the shape of a pumpkin with its own carved face: angry, happy, with heart eyes or with a crooked grin. Stack them on top of each other and together they form a round pumpkin with a green stem on top. The design is by Holydesign; we print them to order in 3D-printed plastic.
Use them under glasses and mugs on the dining table or coffee table, then stack them back into a pumpkin on the cabinet or windowsill. You choose the main colour; we print the stem as in the photo, or you add a wish in the note field. The coasters are for cold drinks and a lukewarm mug, not for freshly made tea, coffee or hot pans. We deliver within 30 days at most. Put a deadline such as 31 October in the note field.

Bambu P1S · nozzle 0.4 mm, calibrated SUNLU PLA+, Bambu Studio 02.08.02.61. For multiple parts we add up the separate print runs; we have not optimised a combined print plate.
These are calculated reference values, not a weighed product or a physical test print. The usage includes generated support material. Assembly, finishing, loose parts and extra material for colour changes are not included. Print time is not delivery time. A different size, colour layout or print setting changes the calculation.

3MF dimensions follow the embedded unit. For STL and OBJ geometry we assume millimetres; those files do not prove a unit of measurement themselves. For assembled products, outer dimensions per part are not a measurement of the finished object. A mask fit, lamp holder, load capacity or food safety does not follow from a successful slice.

Halloween home decor
What is the difference between a pumpkin and an ornamental gourd?
They are related, but they are grown for different reasons. A pumpkin is a vegetable you can eat, such as the orange Hokkaido or the butternut squash. An ornamental gourd is for decoration: small, often irregular or striped, with a hard skin. You don't eat ornamental gourds.
Pumpkin and ornamental gourd side by side
In autumn they often lie next to each other in the shop, and they look alike too. Still, there are a few clear differences.
- Use: pumpkins are grown to be eaten, ornamental gourds to be looked at.
- Shape and colour: pumpkins are usually round and evenly orange, green or grey. Ornamental gourds often have warts, stripes, two colours or a crooked neck.
- Skin: ornamental gourds have a hard, thick skin and can stay beautiful for months if they dry properly.
- Taste: ornamental gourds can contain bitter substances that can make you ill. If a pumpkin or courgette tastes bitter, don't eat it.
To hollow out and carve a pumpkin face, use a large, round pumpkin. Ornamental gourds are too small and too hard for that. Want to keep an ornamental gourd for a long time? Put it in a dry, airy place and turn it now and then. Once it has dried completely, you can often hear the seeds rattle.
Common mistakes
- Using ornamental gourds in soup or in the oven because they look like a pumpkin.
- Storing an ornamental gourd in a closed container, so it goes mouldy instead of drying.
- Putting real pumpkins and gourds directly on wood with nothing underneath.
- Letting children play with gourds that have mould on them.
A pumpkin that never rots
These pumpkin coasters are neither: they are a pumpkin you stack from separate discs. Each disc is a coaster with its own pumpkin face, and together with the stem they form a whole pumpkin again. That way you have the shape of a pumpkin on the table without anything going soft or mouldy.
Use them for cold drinks or a mug that has already cooled down a little. Ordinary 3D-printing plastic such as PLA softens from about 55 to 60 degrees, and freshly made tea or coffee is hotter than that. So don't put a freshly poured mug, teapot or hot pan on them. Wiping with a damp cloth is enough; clean them by hand only, not in a machine.
