Parts, material and use
The spider keychain is a sturdy spider with a round, ribbed abdomen, a head full of round eyes and eight legs that hinge. That lets you make it creep low or stand tall on its legs. Despite all those eyes, it looks cute rather than scary. Designed by Biocraftlab.
Put it in a corner of the bookcase, on the edge of a picture frame or next to a bowl on the table, and see who jumps. You choose the colour yourself: black is the creepiest, an earth tone or white makes it friendlier. Key ring included. This is decoration, not a toy; not suitable for children under 3 (small parts).

3MF dimensions follow the embedded unit. For STL and OBJ geometry we assume millimetres; those files do not prove a unit of measurement themselves. For assembled products, outer dimensions per part are not a measurement of the finished object. A mask fit, lamp holder, load capacity or food safety does not follow from a successful slice.
Buying advice and frequently asked questions
Halloween keychains and fidgets
Why are spiders a Halloween symbol?
Spiders suit everything Halloween is about: dark corners, old abandoned houses and a little fear. Many people find spiders scary, and a spider web is a reminder of a place where nobody has been for a long time. On top of that, you simply see more spiders and webs in autumn, right around Halloween.
Webs, dust and abandoned houses
In ghost stories and horror films, a haunted house is almost always full of cobwebs. The web is a quick sign that a place is old, abandoned and a little ominous. You see that image again in the fake cobwebs that many people hang up around Halloween.
Spiders also turn up regularly in old folk tales, sometimes as bringers of luck and sometimes as something ominous, often close to witches. What they meant differed from region to region.
Why you see more spiders in autumn
In September and October, spiders are especially noticeable. In the garden you see the large webs of the garden spider, often glistening with dew. Indoors, spiders also walk across the floor more often in autumn.
That coincides exactly with Halloween. So the spider became a logical part of autumn and Halloween decorations, alongside pumpkins, bats and witches.
Spiders and fear
Many people find spiders scary, even when they know that the spiders in their home are harmless. That small jolt of fright is exactly what makes them suitable for Halloween: creepy, but not dangerous.
A fake spider is therefore a classic Halloween prank. Put it somewhere nobody expects it, such as next to the remote control, on the rim of a cup or among the sweet wrappers. Do it with a feel for who is in the house, though: for someone with a real fear of spiders, the joke quickly becomes less funny.
The spider keychain as a Halloween spider
Our spider keychain plays with that mix of scary and funny. With eight movable legs, you can make it creep along a shelf or suddenly pop up next to a bowl of sweets. Its big round eyes keep it friendly.
Want to hang it on your keys? It comes with a key ring included.
This is decoration, not a toy; not suitable for children under 3 (small parts). We print to order and deliver within 30 days at most. If you need it for 31 October, put that in the note field; we will confirm by email.
