Parts, material and use
The Spookyflex trio consists of three flat figures: a ghost, a pumpkin and a bat with spread wings. They are built from narrow segments that interlock, so they bend and rattle a little when you move them. Each figure has a small eyelet for hanging on a bunch of keys or a bag. Designed by Vireo Studio.
Hang them on your keys, on a backpack or on a hook in the hallway. You choose the main colour; we print the other figures as in the photo, or you can ask for other colours in the note field. Set of 3 figures, with a key ring per figure. This is decoration, not a toy; not suitable for children under 3 (small parts).

Bambu P1S · nozzle 0.4 mm, calibrated SUNLU PLA+, Bambu Studio 02.08.02.61. For multiple parts we add up the separate print runs; we have not optimised a combined print plate.

3MF dimensions follow the embedded unit. For STL and OBJ geometry we assume millimetres; those files do not prove a unit of measurement themselves. For assembled products, outer dimensions per part are not a measurement of the finished object. A mask fit, lamp holder, load capacity or food safety does not follow from a successful slice.

Halloween keychains and fidgets
What is a flexi print?
A flexi print is a 3D print that comes out of the printer in one go and still moves. The design consists of separate segments that interlock with small hinges. Nothing needs to be glued or assembled: after printing you carefully bend the parts loose and then they move.
How it works
In an ordinary print, everything is one solid whole. In a flexi print, the designer leaves a very small gap between the segments. The printer builds up the parts layer by layer at the same time, but they just do not touch. That creates hinges that are in place from the start.
That gap has to be exactly right. If it is too small, the parts stick together. If it is too big, everything rattles loose or falls apart. That is why flexi designs are often carefully tested.
Because the figures are built up layer by layer, you can see the fine lines of the print layers up close. That is part of this way of printing and is not a fault.
What you can expect
- The figures bend in one direction or sideways, depending on the design.
- You often hear and feel a soft rattling sound when you move them.
- The hinges are small. They can handle normal use, but not hard pulling or twisting.
Common mistakes
- Pulling on one segment instead of moving the whole figure.
- Leaving the keychain in your trouser pocket when you sit down.
- Leaving a flexi in full sun on the car dashboard; ordinary print plastic such as PLA softens from about 55 to 60 °C.
- Giving a flexi to a toddler. The small segments and hinges can come loose, so it is not suitable for children under 3.
The Spookyflex trio as a flexi print
The ghost, the pumpkin and the bat of the Spookyflex trio are all three flexi prints. They come out of the printer in one piece and move straight away. That makes them fun to hang on your keys or to hold in your hand for a moment.
