About Moose
This moose comes from Biocraftlab's Boreal Forest series. Its four legs and its neck are hinged, so you can stand it up, let it sit or lay it flat. The broad, flat antlers, known as palmate antlers, make it immediately clear that this is a moose and not a deer. The figure is printed in one piece, with the hinges built in. Designed by Biocraftlab.
We print it in the colours you see in the photos: brown with cream antlers and a light snout. Hang it on your keys or bag, or stand it on a shelf. Looking for a reindeer? See the flexi reindeer in our Christmas collection. Key ring included. This is decoration, not a toy; not suitable for children under 3 (small parts).

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a moose and a reindeer?
A moose is bigger, usually lives alone and only the male has flat palmate antlers. In reindeer the females carry antlers too, and they migrate in herds. More about this in the guide on this page.
What moves or clicks on this keychain, and does it suit keys or a bag?
Nothing clicks: the four legs and the neck are hinged, and the figure is printed in one piece. We print the version with a hole for a key ring, and the key ring is included.
What does it cost (€19 incl. VAT), what colour is it printed in, is a key ring included and when is it delivered?
It costs €19 incl. VAT. We print it in the colours you see in the photos: brown with cream antlers and a light snout. Key ring included. We print after you pay and deliver within 30 days; shipping within the Netherlands is included. If you have a deadline, put it in the remarks field; we confirm by email.

What is the difference between a moose and a reindeer?
A moose is the largest species of deer and usually lives alone, while reindeer migrate across the tundra in large herds. The clearest difference is in the antlers: in moose only the male has antlers, broad and flat like a shovel. The reindeer is the only deer species in which the females carry antlers too.
Size and build
According to Encyclopaedia Britannica, the largest bull moose, in Alaska and eastern Siberia, stand about two metres tall at the shoulder and weigh around 600 kilos. A moose has long legs, a broad, overhanging snout and a flap of skin under its throat, called a bell.
A reindeer is smaller: large males are just over 1.2 metres tall at the shoulder. Reindeer have deeply split hooves that spread out on snow and soft ground.
Where they live
Moose eat leaves, buds and bark of shrubs and willows, and water plants too. They are good swimmers. Reindeer live on the Arctic tundra and in the northern forests of Scandinavia, Russia, Alaska and Canada. In Europe many reindeer are herded, among others by Sámi reindeer herders.
In North America the reindeer is called caribou. And watch out in English texts: in Europe, English speakers call the moose an elk.
Recognising them quickly
- Flat, shovel-shaped antlers: moose.
- Only the male carries antlers: moose.
- Females with antlers too: reindeer.
- Broad, overhanging snout, long legs and a flap of skin under the throat: moose.
Biocraftlab's moose
On this figure you see the palmate antlers straight away: broad and flat, light in colour above the brown head. Its four legs and neck are hinged, so it can stand, sit or lie down. Because the antlers stick out above the body, the position on the print bed matters: the direction in which a figure is printed determines where it is strong and where it is fragile. That is the topic of the knowledge-base article on 3D print orientation.
Prefer a reindeer? The flexi reindeer from the Christmas collection is a flat, leaping reindeer that can also go on your keys.
